VW resolves supplier dispute but not underlying problems

VW was forced to halt production across several German factories after two disgruntled suppliers stopped supplies, writes Megan Lampinen

Volkswagen's recent supplier dispute has reportedly been resolved but highlights underlying problems that still need to be addressed.

The manufacturer was forced to stop production of Passat and Golf models in Germany along with certain engine, gearbox and emission systems lines, when two disgruntled suppliers halted deliveries.
