Many OEMs are taking a stepping stone approach to self-driving vehicles, introducing increasingly autonomous functions bit by bit. These features are spreading rapidly across models and segments, but as they do so, significant teething problems are emerging. Unintended consequences represent one of the biggest areas of frustration and even danger.
