Tesla is constantly making headlines, sometimes due to comments from its outspoken Chief Executive but equally due to innovative new technology or persistent safety and quality concerns. Most recently the spotlight has been on a fatal accident involving a Model S with nobody in the driver seat, but that was quickly overshadowed by the news that Tesla has posted the largest profit in its—albeit short—history. Oh, and Chief Executive Elon Musk is going to host Saturday Night Live.
