Tesla Q2 sales leave heavy burden for H2

A 52% rise in Model S sales for Q2 still leaves the company off pace for its full year goal

Tesla managed an impressive 52% year-on-year rise in global Model S deliveries for the second quarter this year, handing over a total of 11,507 units to customers. The OEM does not provide a geographical breakdown of its sales figures and has stated frequently that its delivery figures reflect production capacity more than demand.
