At the start of this year, union officials believed that French vehicle manufacturer PSA Peugeot Citroen intended to further reduce its workforce in France to address overcapacity. Now, the company's new Chief Executive Officer, Carlos Tavares, is on the lookout for new ways to cut costs. Ominously, he does not rule out more reductions to the OEM's capacity after 2016.
