Ridesharing set to spread through small cities

Michael Nash explores the potential for ridesharing in smaller cities

Companies that offer ridesharing services have witnessed significant success within big cities, where the population is growing and space is at a premium – figures from the World Health Organisation (WHO) suggest global urban population will grow by 1.84% per year between 2015 and 2020. However, these services are not limited to larger cities, and could soon spread to smaller cities and possibly even semi-rural areas.
