COMMENT: Model X recall – no mea culpa needed this time

BY MEGAN LAMPINEN. Tesla is recalling its much hyped, super advanced Model X, but at least it's not for the falcon wing doors

Fresh on the heels of its second confession of hubris, Tesla finds itself forced to recall the new Model X. Just a few months after launch and the first serious snag has been hit as a safety flaw with the third-row seats is uncovered. It marks the first recall for the new SUV, which contains a mass of innovative new technologies, but there's no fixing this one with an over the air (OTA) update.
