JLR Q1 sales down due to tariffs and legacy Jaguar wind down

JLR posted declining sales results in Q1 FY26, with US tariffs and the impending Jaguar rebrand having the most impact. By Will Girling

Jaguar Land Rover's (JLR's) recorded wholesales in Q1 for financial year 2026 were down 10.7%, to 87,286 units, from 12 months ago, according to a 7 July press release. Retail sales in Q1 FY26 were 94,420, a decline of 15.1% year-on-year.
