Many tyre suppliers are offering the latest low rolling resistance, fuel efficient products designed to cut vehicle CO2 emissions. These tyres are given an eco-friendly badge, with many boasting up to a 2% reduction in overall vehicle fuel consumption.
While cutting emissions during application is considered vital in helping OEMs meet fuel economy and emissions targets, tyre suppliers are also faced with the challenge of making manufacturing and production processes as eco-friendly as possible.
