The immediate problems of natural gas for trucks

A study uncovers problems that must be addressed by the natural gas segment

A recent study carried out by the UC Davis Institute of Transportation Studies (ITS) examines the viability of using natural gas (NG) in the truck segment. Although NG combustion emits far less CO2 than that of both diesel and gasoline combustion, there are some issues that must be considered if NG is to bolster its position in the truck segment.
