Driver aids have improved significantly in recent years, making life easier and safer for those behind the wheel. However, almost all passenger vehicles still rely on traditional analogue gauges to receive critical driving information, such as road speed, fuel range and engine status. Things are changing, however, with the automotive industry starting to leverage technology that has seen great success in the aviation industry.
