Global growth potential uncertain for Korean battery makers

Earlier in 2024, it became clear that the Korean automotive industry risked limiting sales growth almost exclusively to the US market. Between 5 and 9 December, a string of data reports compiled by SNE Research indicated that the country’s problems may persist on a wider scale in 2025, particularly as geopolitics reshapes the trajectory of global electrification.
