Gap widens between real-world and stated diesel emissions figures

With OEMs still offering cars that exceed NOx levels permitted by Euro 6, the call for new test procedures grows louder

The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) has released a report detailing the gap between real-world and official recorded figures of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions among diesel cars. The findings have revealed that exhaust emissions produced by modern diesel cars are way beyond those permitted by Euro 6 emission standards.
