Dealer lawsuit threatens to tarnish FCA sales run

A recent lawsuit from two US dealers could cast aspersions on the validity of FCA's sales data as well as its dealer relationships. By Megan Lampinen

FCA US has been on a sales roll, boasting for months of its long-running growth streak. At the moment, its US sales (driven primarily by Jeep) have risen year-on-year for 69 consecutive months. That is certainly worth noting, provided it is an accurate reflection of demand for its models on the market. However, a recent lawsuit from two US dealers could cast aspersions on the validity of the sales data and FCA's dealer relationships as well.
