EU membership best for business – why UK companies support continued link

Throughout much of the European-wide automotive industry downturn, the UK stood out as a bright spot, emphasising how it is both part of Europe and yet distinct. There have been suggestions by some groups in that past that the UK would be better off leaving the EU, but that is clearly not the majority feeling from the automotive industry, according to recent findings from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
