Don’t judge by January, says Russia’s AEB AMC

Final January figures for Russian sales are now in, confirming the necessity of the government's recent intervention. Emerging from a 35.7% decline in 2015 the industry has continued its downward path in 2016, kicking off the first month with a 29.1% drop in volumes. While less dramatic than the 45.7% decline reported in December, at nearly 30% it is considerably hefty.
