Jaguar Land Rover has shut down production at its UK manufacturing facilities following a cyber attack that has severely disrupted operations across the premium automaker's global network. Workers at the Halewood plant in Merseyside were instructed not to report for work on 1 September, while staff at the Solihull facility were also sent home as JLR proactively shut down IT systems to contain the breach.
