The market for convertibles is a small but important one, and the segment is attracting increasingly affluent, well-educated buyers. A recent study by Experian found that in the first quarter of 2014, US convertible car buyers tended to have a higher education and were more affluent than the average new car buyer. Automotive World spoke with Brad Smith, Director for Experian Automotive, on the implications for the segment moving forward.
