Continental has reported it may have supplied faulty airbag control units (ACU) used in five million vehicles worldwide, with affected OEMs including Honda, FCA, Daimler, Mazda, Volkswagen and Volvo Trucks. Airbags in certain models might fail to deploy in the event of a collision. At least two injuries have been attributed to the defect so far.
