COMMENT: How to get consumers to want a driverless car

With each recent leap forward in fully autonomous driving technology, industry experts breathlessly predict how long it will take for driverless cars to become available to the consumer.  Some say as little as five years, others say 30. However, these predictions largely ignore more pressing issues that must be resolved first.
