Compared to the millions of new cars powered by internal combustion engines (ICEs) coming into the global market each year, the number of electric vehicles (EVs) sold worldwide still equates to only 1% of the entire market. But 1% is better than nothing. In fact, Bosch expects around 15% of all new passenger cars built worldwide to have at least a hybrid-electric powertrain by 2025.
