With car production out, Australia turns its attention to retraining

One week ago Toyota confirmed plans to stop all vehicle and engine production in Australia in 2017, effectively ending the country's car manufacturing industry. Since then, thoughts have turned to worker support and the thousands of individuals soon to be left without a job. Automotive World spoke to Tony Lemmo, Chief Executive Officer of Autoteam Australia Consulting, on the possible fallout from the development and what the industry can expect from the government in terms of support.
