Can a jack of all segments be a master of any?

Tata Motors is a rare breed of manufacturer, covering the full spectrum of segments from the entry level Nano model through to its luxury Jaguar Land Rover line-up on the passenger car side, while the commercial side spans the Ace mini truck, buses, heavy trucks and defence vehicles. However, the future of its passenger car business is under doubt, as a series of disappointing launches and rising competition take their toll.
