Success within the automotive supply chain is a bit of a mixed bag in China. While short-term trends are impacting smaller suppliers’ sales – particularly within the commercial vehicle (CV) market – the larger suppliers seem to be coping well and ploughing on without breaking stride. Bosch – the world’s largest automotive supplier – reported significant sales growth in China during 2014 to €6.4bn (US$6.88bn). Year-over-year, this represents a 27% improvement, and the supplier continues to recognise further growth opportunities in China.
