Brazil expects 2025 production boost, wary of China imports

Brazil’s automotive industry is forecast to see year-on-year growth in production, exports and registrations through 2025. By Will Girling

The Brazilian Association of Automotive Vehicle Manufacturers (ANFAVEA) has revised its combined light vehicle, truck and bus export forecast for 2025. From an original 7.5% growth on 2024's figure—398,484 units—the organisation now expects a 38.4% jump to more than 551,000 units.
