At the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and UPM demonstrated their joint project concept car: a street-legal vehicle which highlights the use of renewable biomaterials in the automotive industry, including UPM’s innovative BioVerno biofuel. Since then, the results of the company’s first fleet tests have been released, and the company’s first refinery will be completed in summer.
