India: Bajaj, Renault scrap ULC project

Bajaj Auto, Renault and Nissan have scrapped plans to launch an ultra low-cost car (ULC), reports AFP. The partners first announced plans to jointly develop a new four-wheel model for emerging markets in 2007.
