US: GM recalls Cruze for faulty steering shaft

General Motors is recalling certain Chevrolet Cruze models to inspect the installation of the steering shaft. The recall covers more than 154,000 units. The bulk of the models, more than 120,000, feature an automatic transmission. On these, dealers will also inspect the installation of the transmission shift linkage.
