Japan: Auto output & export sales improve in 2010

After two years of downturn, vehicle production in Japan rose last year, jumping 21.3% to 9,625,940 vehicles. According to figures compiled by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), passenger cars accounted for 8,307,382 of total output last year, up 21.1% year-on-year.
