Ford has announced it is preparing to invest £1.5bn (US$2.3bn) in its four UK facilities over the next five years after securing a £360m UK Government loan guarantee.
The UK Secretary of State for Business, Peter Mandelson, announced the £360m backing of Ford's £450m application to the European Investment Bank (EIB)
