In collaboration with Ford and Hyundai/Kia, the Advanced Lead Acid Battery Consortium (ALABC) is examining the impact of 48-volt (48-v) systems for CO2 emissions reduction. Early estimates suggest that the systems could be integral in meeting upcoming CO2 regulations.
