SUVs outsold passenger cars in Europe for the first time last year, as improvements in fuel economy and low fuel prices provided additional segment momentum. In a market that grew by 9.3% overall last year, according to data from JATO Dynamics, SUV sales were up 24% to 3.2 million units.
