Power to the people: US charging infrastructure expansion to make EVs enticing

Michael Nash takes a look at recent developments in the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles across the US

Analysis from management consultant McKinsey suggests that the US and Europe have seen an increase in the ratio of EVs deployed versus the number of public charging stations. It also predicts that a handful of European OEMs will install fast-charge points in the near future, while OEMs in the US will invest “billions of dollars in new charging infrastructure over the next ten years.”
