The New Year promises to bring diesel emissions testing procedures under greater scrutiny in Europe. The past couple of days have seen developments at both Renault and Fiat Chrysler that demonstrate the authorities are stepping up the crackdown on what has become almost standard procedures by many vehicle manufacturers.
