Tesla's proposed merger with solar expert SolarCity is moving ahead and on 31 July a definitive Agreement and Plan of Merger was made public. While Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk, also the largest shareholder in SolarCity, promises great potential from the closer relationship, not everyone agrees the move is a smart one.
