Adhesives and sealants have many uses in the automotive industry, from enhancing reliability of components by resisting heat, to reducing noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). They are used by OEMs to bond different substrates of metal, mitigating the amount of welding and mechanical rivets that are used.
Suppliers that specialise in adhesives and sealants are expected to witness rising demand in the coming years, particularly from the Asia Pacific region.
