Kiran Govindswamy, Business Unit Director: Powertrain, Vehicle Engineering, and NVH, FEV has been confirmed as a speaker at Fuel Economy Detroit.
In his current role, Dr. Govindswamy oversees transmission and driveline development as well as full vehicle integration including key attributes such as performance and NVH, in FEV’s North American Technical Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Under his leadership, FEV’s transmission and driveline development activities have grown significantly and now include proficiency in design and development of advanced transmissions, state-of-the-art CAE based methodologies, transmission-rig testing, calibration, and vehicle integration. He has co-authored more than 30 papers during the course of his career.
Prior to joining FEV, Dr. Govindswamy held various positions with Roush Industries, where he gained expertise in the areas of structural dynamics and NVH.
