New Focus ST diesel variant fixates fleet managers

Ford has high hopes for its Focus ST diesel, despite recent events surrounding the segment

European sales of Ford’s Focus ST have more than doubled, increasing by over 270% since the introduction of the latest model in early 2015, which includes an expanded powertrain line-up. Customers have the choice of a 2.0-litre EcoBoost 250PS gasoline engine that reaches 62mph in 6.5 seconds and has a top speed of 154mph, or a 2.0-litre TCDi diesel engine that generates 185PS and can reach 62mph in 8.1 seconds with a limited top speed of 134mph.
