Nissan's Chinese ambitions received a welcome boost with the recent recognition of its Lannia model as the 'Best New Model to Come' at Auto Shanghai 2015. The award, selected by Auto Shanghai and Chinese media, singled out the Lannia from among the 109 models making their global debuts at the this year's event. It marks a pivotal player in Nissan's Chinese strategy, and Chief Executive Carlos Ghosn himself put in an appearance at the launch.
