Company Outlines Commitment to Partnership, Progress, and Potential
HARMAN International Industries (NYSE:HAR), the premier audio, visual, infotainment and enterprise automation group, today released its 2014 Sustainability Report, providing details on actions and measures the Company has taken to support the social and ecological missions of the organization, its customers and the communities it serves.

Highlights from HARMAN’s 2014 report include progress against several core initiatives:
- Design and build superior audio and infotainment solutions for our customers, in a manner that reflects our commitment to the environment;
- Improve HARMAN’s environmental performance within its own operations;
- Make sound investments in our people and communities; and
- Generate shareholder value responsibly.
In 2014, HARMAN’s Executive Council established a Sustainability Council, appointing key managers who represent the Company’s business units and corporate functions. The Sustainability Council oversees the development and execution of HARMAN’s sustainability strategy, including measurement and reporting across all divisions.
