Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced that Hideyuki Sakamoto, an executive vice president, Fumiaki Matsumoto, an executive vice president, and Bernard Rey, retired – Renault SA, have been nominated for election to the company’s board at the Nissan Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, scheduled to be held end of June 2014.
Current directors Hidetoshi Imazu and Katsumi Nakamura will resign from the board effective immediately following the shareholder’s meeting.
The company also announced that Imazu and Motoo Nagai, former director and deputy president of Mizuho Trust & Banking Co., Ltd., will be appointed as company auditors, also pending approval at the shareholder’s meeting.
Current auditors Masahiko Aoki and Mikio Nakura will retire effective immediately following the shareholder’s meeting.
