Mazda Motor Corporation has announced the following corporate officer changes, effective as of the completion of the 147th General Shareholders’ Meeting on June 25 and the subsequent Meeting of the Board of Directors.
Last year promotions and new appointment of officers were suspended, given the company’s financial situation. The company has returned to profitability in Fiscal Year 147, and has been making steady headway in its structural reform which will underpin future growth. In light of this progress, the present action was taken to rejuvenate the executive leadership and allow the new team to aim for greater growth.
