The Aston Martin Vanquish is continuing its impressive awards success in Europe: on Thursday night in Zurich it was crowned the Most Stylish Car 2013 in Switzerland.
This prestigious style accolade is presented annually by the Swiss magazine Schweizer Illustrierte as part of their Swiss Car of the Year awards. In addition the Vanquish came second in the Favourite Car of the Swiss vote, making Aston Martin the most successful car brand of this competition.

Launched just last month the new Aston Martin Vanquish won in the class Most Stylish Car in Switzerland with a clear result against nine contestants. The vote was made by a jury comprising ten Swiss celebrities. The Aston Martin was the only candidate which not only received points from every juror, but also managed to achieve the maximum score from two of the judges.
To round off a brilliant night, the Vanquish came second in the readers’ vote The Favourite Car of the Swiss, in which the readers of Schweizer Illustrierte and other publications nominated their favourite new car from 42 candidates.
The Vanquish is the new flagship model of the Aston Martin sports car range. With its new 6.0-litre V12 engine – developing 573 PS at 6,750 rpm – this Super GT becomes the most powerful production car in the British luxury manufacturer’s current model range.
In addition to its performance – 620 Nm at 5,500 rpm torque, acceleration of 0-100km/h in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 295 km/h – the Vanquish impresses with its breath-taking design, new intelligent control console and noticeably more spacious interior.
The Vanquish is available through official Aston Martin dealerships and is priced in Switzerland at CHF 290,083 (including local taxes).
