Toyota Motor Europe (TME) today announced the appointment of Mr Xavier Heylen as President of Toyota Norge AS, effective November 1st, 2014.
Mr Xavier Heylen, 43, is currently General Manager, Sales & Marketing, Pricing at Toyota Motor Europe. Mr Heylen joined Toyota in the European Pricing department in 1996, progressing to the post of Manager in Toyota Sales Operations in 2003. In 2005 he became Regional Manager and has been in charge of markets such as Czech Republic, Hungary, Ukraine, Poland, Russia and Kazakhstan, before being appointed Vice President at Toyota Motor Hungary in 2008. In 2011 he was appointed General Manager Toyota Sales Operations before returning to the Pricing department earlier this year.
Mr Xavier Heylen will replace Mr Lars-Erik Årøy who has decided to leave the company.
