- Renault proposes a wide range of vehicles eligible for the eco-bonus.
- Within the Renault brand, additional to ZOE, Fluence Z.E., Kangoo Z.E. and Kangoo Maxi Z.E., nine passenger cars remain in the category of vehicles emitting 61-90 grams of CO2 / km.
- The bonus for electric vehicles maintained at €6,300 will enable to maintain the development of the electric vehicles put in place in 2012.
In passenger cars, alongside ZOE and Fluence Z.E., Twingo, New Clio hatch and estate, and Mégane hatch, estate and coupé, maintain versions eligible for the new eco-bonus scale.
The concerned powertrains are the dCi 75 eco² and dCi 85 eco² for Twingo, the Energy dCi 90 eco² emitting 83g or 90g for New Clio, and the Energy dCi 110 eco² for Megane.
In LCVs, Kangoo Z.E. and Kangoo Maxi Z.E. remain eligible for the bonus.
All versions of Twingo, New Clio and Captur, Renault’s three best-sellers, fall into the bonus or neutral categories. Most of the mid-range versions fall into the neutral bracket.
Quote from Nicolas Monnot, Marketing Director, France: “Our range is well placed facing the new scale put in place for the eco-bonus. All versions of New Clio, Captur and Twingo, our three best-sellers, fall into the bonus or neutral categories. And maintaining the bonus for electric vehicles will enable us to continue the approach initiated in 2012 to support growth of the zero-emissions market.”
