Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), the maker of Subaru automobiles, today announced that Subaru’s all-new concept car, which is currently under development for production model launch in 2014, has been named “LEVORG”.
The name “LEVORG” comes from a combination of the words “LEGACY”, “REVOLUTION” and “TOURING” to represent the car which carries on Subaru’s great heritage while pioneering a new age of touring car with innovation.
The prototype of the all-new LEVORG sport tourer will make the world debut at the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show 2013 to be held in November.
A special website is scheduled to be launched on the Subaru Official Website at 12:00 noon on October 30 (Japan time) to release teaser images and other information.
