The Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) is pleased to announce Daniel E. Sceli, chief executive officer of Peterson American Corporation, has been elected as chairman of the OESA Board of Directors for the 2014 – 2015 term. Sceli was introduced as the new OESA chairman at the 16th Annual OESA Outlook Conference held today in Detroit, Mich.
“We are very pleased that Dan will chair the OESA Board of Directors for the 2014 – 2015 term,” said Julie A. Fream, president and chief executive officer, OESA. “Dan’s extensive automotive industry experience, proven leadership and commitment to OESA will continue to be valuable assets to our board and the members of our association.”
Sceli, who previously served as OESA board vice chairman, follows Doug Grimm, president and chief executive officer, Grede Holdings LLC, and co-president, MPG, Inc., who served as the board chair for 2013 – 2014. Grimm will continue to serve on the board’s executive committee.
“It is my honor to chair such a prestigious organization,” said Sceli. “I look forward to working with the OESA board and member organizations to continue the OESA mission of creating positive dialogue throughout the supply chain, bringing important issues to the forefront, and encouraging a spirit of collaboration.”
OESA also announced the election of Mike Mansuetti, president, Robert Bosch LLC, and Samir Salman, CEO NAFTA Region, Continental Automotive Systems, Inc., as vice chairmen for 2014 – 2015. Additional new board members elected for terms beginning in 2014 are: Neil De Koker, board member and senior advisor; Paul Doyle, chief executive officer, Coastal Group; and Staci Kroon, president, automotive, North America, Eaton.
