1. Production
September 2020
- Nissan’s global production in September declined 20.0% from a year earlier.
- Production in Japan declined 32.3%.
- Production outside Japan declined 17.7%.
April-September 2020
- Global production for the April-September period declined 36.7% from a year earlier.
- Production in Japan declined 55.9%.
- Production outside Japan declined 33.0%.
- Production in China surpassed year-earlier results by 3.1%, setting a record for the April-September period.
2. Sales
September 2020
- Global sales in September declined 13.1% from a year earlier.
- Sales including minivehicles in Japan declined 20.3%.
- Minivehicle sales in Japan surpassed year-earlier results by 3.3%, setting a record for the month of September.
- Sales outside Japan declined 11.9% from a year earlier.
April-September 2020
- Global sales for the April-September period declined 25.6% from a year earlier.
- Sales including minivehicles in Japan declined 27.5% from a year earlier.
- Sales outside Japan declined 25.4% from a year earlier.
- Sales in China surpassed year-earlier results by 4.2%, setting a record for the April-September period.

- Exports from Japan in September declined 33.6% from a year earlier.
