Volkswagen Group, the famous German automobile manufacturer, held the “Volkswagen Group Award 2016” in Berlin on June 1, 2016 in order to recognize its best suppliers throughout the world. Keihin Thermal Technology Corporation (Head office: Oyama, Tochigi; President: Tatsuhiko Arai; “KTT” below), a subsidiary of Keihin Corporation, received the “Volkswagen Group Award” during this prestigious event.

240 guests from across the globe were invited to the award ceremony. KTT was the sole Japanese company out of the 21 companies that received awards.

The automobile A/C condenser developed and produced by KTT, installed in vehicles using “MQB” project (such as the Volkswagen “Golf”) and “MLB” project (such as the Audi “A4”), is now supplied to Europe, North America, and China. KTT helps to boost product competitiveness in these regions with excellent quality and costs. The award was given partly in recognition of this achievement.

It was honored for our steady efforts, and we are committed to developing an even deeper relationship of mutual understanding and trust with its customers.
