Jeff Conklin, Engineering Department Manager, Magna International’s Cosma Engineering, has been confirmed as a speaker in the Vehicle Lightweighting at Automotive Megatrends USA 2015, which takes place on 17 March 2015.
Jeff Conklin is an Engineering Department Manager for Magna International’s body and chassis group (Cosma). In this role, Conklin is responsible for chassis and body structure programs with a focus on ultrahigh strength steels and aluminum casting products.
Recently, Conklin has been a led engineer on the development of the Multi-Material Lightweight Vehicle (MMLV) program which is a joint program with Ford and partially funded by the Department of Energy (DOE).
Conklin joined Cosma in 1994 as a Co-op engineering student and has held various positions within the company over the past 20 years.
